Xbox avatars now available as apps for Windows 10
Earlier this year, has been rumors that Microsoft is working on a new generation of avatars for the Xbox with a new graphics engine and a full cross-platform support.
Well, eve was made the first concrete step on the way to it: the company released app Avatars (beta) for Windows 10, which allows you to create and edit your Xbox Live avatars by changing body shape, eye shadow, skin tone and more of these virtual characters. All changes made in this application are synchronized with the server and, therefore, are reflected on the player card and the console interface.
In General, Avatars for Windows 10 offers almost all of the expected options, but there are some features that are integrated in the application not in full, including the acquisition of accessories in the store that is currently only possible via the browser.
At the moment the app is only available for PC but it is not excluded that the company will release a version for smartphones. You can download it, only those who have installed Windows 10 Technical Preview. The app is available at the new Store in 26 languages, including Russian.
