Windows 8.1 can get the free version

According to ZDNet, Microsoft is working on a free version of Windows 8.1, which is tightly integrated with Bing. According to the website, it will be called «Windows 8.1 with Bing», and will be available as free upgrade for Windows 7 users (If this is true, then Microsoft should consider for inclusion in this list, users of Windows XP and Vista) and PC manufacturers.

It is not clear how Bing will be more deeply integrated into Windows, but the purpose of the company from Redmond is to provide manufacturers a chance to release a cheaper notebooks and tablets, minimizing licensing costs. Some analysts also say that Microsoft is concerned about the growing popularity of Chrome OS that is mostly due to the incredibly low price of so-called «Hambali».
