Windows 7-like «start menu» in Windows 10
«Start menu», which is missing in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, is back with Windows 10. It is available on PCs and laptops, while users of touch devices by default, included the infamous start screen. Make Windows 7 like «start menu» in Windows 10 without third party tools
Here, we simply take all the tiles that you see on the right side, to eventually obtain a simple but functional menu. The advantage of this method is that you don’t have to install any third party tools, but the end result will not be entirely the same menu of «seven». If you want to get a menu that is as close as possible to that in Windows 7, you can immediately go to the second method.
Step 1: now, open the menu «start».
Step 2: Click the right mouse button on any of the tiles in the right side menu, and then select «Unpin from Start» from the context menu. Repeat the same with the other tiles.
Step 3: After you remove all the tiles, you will get the result like on the screenshot below.
