Windows 10 will include support for new types of sensors
There was a time when the sensors in a mobile device was something unusual, something out of science fiction, and rare smartphone could boast of having the same compass. However, gradually, the mobile device has got a whole set of such components, and now is no surprise a smartphone that is able to measure the number of steps and calculate calories burned.
Microsoft is aware that this technology is becoming increasingly popular, so in newer versions of Windows support different sensors will be significantly expanded.
Current Windows Phone supports accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, light sensor and proximity, and Windows 10 will offer support for new sensors, including sensors of the environment (humidity, temperature, ultraviolet radiation, carbon dioxide concentration) and various biometric sensors that measure heart rate and respiratory processes. Complete the picture sensors that act as altimeter, pedometer and barometer.
The range of new sensors is a clear signal that in the near future we will see devices with Windows 10, which will be implemented these new features.
