Windows 10: apps Mail and calendar, and Store Photos received a new update
Redmond continues to update the core applications that are integrated with Windows 10 mobile version of the new operating system. New versions are released almost every day; in some cases, the updates are significant, and in others the company simply limited to improving stability and fixing bugs, which, however, is also very important.
This time the update includes several applications, with both desktop and mobile versions of Windows 10. In particular, the updates received:
- Mail and calendar
As for the new features, first of all, it should be noted the ability to activate a new theme and other options to customize the UI in the Mail app and Calendar. A few days earlier, a similar update received users of the insider build of the operating system, and now all these features are available in the stable version of Windows 10.
Another new feature — «authorizing purchase» — was seen in the client settings. It allows you to enable or disable the verification of the identity of the user using the PIN, in order to avoid accidental and unauthorized purchases.
Changed some visual aspects of the Store. On the page of each application the main area now matches the main color of the app logo. Finally, there were improved integration screenshot gallery of apps.
Other changes (if any) are not obvious, so it’s safe to say that they are aimed at fixing bugs, improving performance and stability of applications.
