Vaio will introduce a device with Windows 10 Mobile on 4 February
According to Japanese site mynavi.jp, smartphone Vaio with Windows 10 Mobile will be officially presented on 4 February. The device will show at the press conference, which will be held with participation of President of Microsoft Japan and managing Director of Japan’s largest mobile operator NTT DoCoMo.
In October last year, the Vaio brand has been included in the list of partners that could help Microsoft and Windows 10 Mobile distribution in Asia and particularly in Japan.
At the moment there is no information about the technical characteristics of the new smartphone, but it is likely that this device will not be a budget because the Vaio brand has always been associated with hardware products of high class.
Recall that the Vaio brand is no longer owned by Sony. In 2014 rights to use acquired Japanese investment Fund Japan Industrial Partners. Windows 10 Mobile may be a good opportunity to re-run it, especially now that Microsoft has decided to sharply cut production of Lumia devices.
