Updated the context menu of Windows 10, like not all
The newest version of Windows 10 (version 1511, build 10586) brings a number of changes along with different problems, of course. Interface context menu is just one of those things that Microsoft tried to improve in the new version. This was done at the request of insiders, disgruntled with a mixture of menus with different visual style.
It turns out that over the previous design of certain context menu worked different teams with different principles and lines of the design, hence the discrepancy. On the menu for the new version of «ten» designers worked together, however, many users are still not satisfied.
One of the visitors Reddit is not only called the new menu is inconsistent, but suggested that his visual solution. That should look like the context menu in his opinion:
The same user said that although Microsoft has made some changes, the overall design of the menu is still the visual concussion, which contradicts the whole OS. Many people support his point of view:
Is it just me or the new context menu, Windows 10 actually looks ugly as hell?
In my opinion, they still work and work. It would be great to add a little transparency and blur.
Why context menu is dark, when the rest of the OS is mainly the light? Why context menu is so big and wide? My mouse pointer has sausage fingers… why can’t they be wide only in tablet mode or when display touch? Why the shortcut menu for the taskbar elements like Wi-Fi and the volume level is not consistent with the others?
In General, as is usually the case, not without unhappy. Microsoft say that they have ideas how to make the context menu even better, and the embodiment of these ideas we are likely to see in one of the following insider builds.
