Update KB3035583 notify users of Windows 7 and 8 on Windows 10
The launch of Windows 10 Microsoft has planned for the summer, but training computers with Windows 7 and Windows 8 free upgrade, the company decided to start now. Recently Windows update came recommended update KB3035583 by which computers running Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) will be able to notify their owners about the release of Windows 10.
According to information on the Microsoft support page, this update includes additional notifications in Windows Update when available new updates. Windows 10, the description never mentioned, but after installing the update, careful users found some new files in the System 32 folder and in the description of one of them – GWXUXWorker.exe – there is mention of Windows 10.
In addition, after installation KB3035583 users found the file config.xml that describes the algorithm of the operating system interaction with users, when will be released Windows 10. As soon as Microsoft decides that it’s time, users will start seeing notifications in the taskbar and on the start screen, informing users about the release of Windows 10.
