Method 1

Don’t forget to replace C: with the drive letter on which the system is installed. Also, change your account name.

Step 2: the First action will open the folder «SettingSync», in which you’ll find a folder «metastore» and «remotemetastore». Copy these folders to another location on your computer – just as a backup. Now delete the folder metastore.

Step 3: Restart the machine and try to install the application. If the problem persists, also delete the folder «remotemetastore» and check after a reboot.

If this method doesn’t work at all, then here is another solution you can try:

Method 2

Step 1: Open the app «PC Settings» and go to «Accounts -> Your account». As you encounter a problem when installing applications from the Store, it is obvious that you are using a Microsoft account. Therefore, you need to click on «Disable» to switch to a local account.

Step 2: Now open the Windows Store and try to install one of the apps you could install. Since you switched to a local account, the Store will ask you to reconnect to your Microsoft account. Here click on the link «Log in separately to each application (not recommended)».

Next you will be prompted to save the Microsoft account, but this is really only to download the current application. So the app will be installed without error code. As soon as you have installed all other application, switch back to Microsoft account.
