Some extra features of Windows 10 TP build 9860
Earlier this week Microsoft released a new build (9860) of Windows 10 Technical Preview, which contains not only the new animations and notification center, but some minor additional features. By the way, some of them are still not fully included. Here we will quickly go over them.
A new feature in the updates section to new builds
You can choose one of two modes, fast or slow, depending on whether you want to get a new build in the shortest time possible, but with numerous errors, or at a later time, but with correction of some bugs.
Data Sense
As we have indicated, Windows 10 will inherit many of the innovations that first debuted in Windows Phone 8. One of the same features is Data Sense, which appeared in this Assembly, and allows you to monitor data traffic from Wi-Fi or mobile network, which is especially useful for tablet users.
Battery Saver
Another expected feature was also introduced in this build. As the same app in Windows Phone 8, Battery Saver saves battery by limiting background activity and to reduce the performance of the equipment.
Updated lock screen
A small change discovered in the bowels of the system, portends future opportunities for more personalized lock screen in Windows 10. At the moment this is just a demo app.
