Skype for Windows Phone you can now draw

Microsoft has released a new update to Skype for Windows Phone and with the new version users have received an entirely new feature: drawing. The addition allows Windows Phone users to draw on white canvas, annotate images, annotate maps and send to all their contacts in Skype.

Given that applications from competitors to support such a function very unusual that Microsoft has added is only a version for Windows Phone. The company does not mention whether there will be further new feature added to version of Skype for Android, iOS, Mac or Windows, but we can assume that eventually it will be available for them.

Among other improvements in new version Skype note support for displays with HD resolution, faster navigation and automatic sign-in with your Microsoft account.

Microsoft is regularly criticised about the slow updates Skype for Windows Phone and the lack of opportunities available in versions for iOS and Android, which usually appear much earlier in them than in their own mobile operating system company.

Video posts, for example, debuted last year in February for Mac, iPhone and Android, but only in September for Windows Phone. The latest update comes as a response to such accusations and, of course, the ability to do drawings and send them to other contacts will be gladly accepted by the users of Windows Phone, which already got used to the fact that the new features from Microsoft first come out for iOS and Android, not for their own platform.
