According to rumors, Windows 10 upgrade Service Release 1 will be released on 10 August [Completed]
The new operating system from Microsoft is distributed in its final version in only a week, but the rumors (and developers) do not know pause. It is time to think about the first major update to Windows 10, which, if you believe the recent rumors, called Service Release 1 (SR1).
WinSuperSite claims that the release is scheduled for next Monday, August 10. It is not clear whether this large-scale release for all, or the first update will receive only users of Windows Insider (the theory of «insiders» will be able to download the update before it is released to users that are not part of the insider program).
confirms the nature of the Service Release 1 – this update will focus on fixing the many bugs in the current build of the operating system and not on expanding the available options.
Upd: the Update is already available. It appeared to be a cumulative update KB3081424 is fairly large (325 MB), which involves a large number of corrective and stabilizing improvements. Details are on the Microsoft website.
