Wzor, a reliable information leaks about Microsoft published new screenshots of Windows 8.1 Update 1 (or GDR1), showing one of the changes in the upcoming update, which is expected in the spring. In his message on Twitter Wzor notes that the latest build of Windows 8.1 Update 1 is the number 6.3.9600.16596.WINBLUES14_GDR_LEAN.140114-0237.

New screenshots show that users will be able to display the icons of modern applications on the taskbar of the desktop. This feature is activated through the activation of the function «Show Store apps in the taskbar» in taskbar properties.

The rest of the new screenshots not seen anything new, not even cosmetic changes. It is however quite normal considering that the spring update for Windows 8.1 should only bring a computer operating system with Windows Phone 8 to help developers write cross platform apps. If you want a major change, wait for Windows 9, which should be out or in the spring of 2015 or fall of this year.

Wzor also noted that soon this build can get into the network, but the official stable release will release during the BUILD conference in April.
