New laptops from Alienware with Windows 8.1
LG has introduced two new laptop with Windows 8.1 at CES 2014. Model Tab-Book 2 features a 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and an Intel processor based on Haswell.
The display device is «moving». Thus, it is possible to close the keyboard and turn the device into a tablet. The bad news is that the keyboard is not equipped with a touchpad. The display is bright and viewing angles are good enough. The device has a special button, which activated mode «read». This feature reduces battery consumption, dulling the color and brightness of the display. The weight of the hybrid is relatively small – about 1 kg. In the sale will be available the version with Intel Bay Trail processor, which is even easier – 900 grams. Also, the Tab-Book 2 has two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port and micro USB, however the other characteristics the manufacturer wished not to disclose.
The second device is an updated ultrabook Ultra PC. It is equipped with 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, an Intel i5 and full-sized HDMI port. Extremely light (1kg), but the company is equipping its touch screen.
