Models with 4 GB of internal memory will not get Windows 10 Mobile?
Microsoft several times made it clear that all smartphones with Windows Phone 8.1 support updating to Windows 10 Mobile. Although, it seems, can be exceptions. Reason to doubt the company was a note on the official page of Windows 10 Mobile.
In one section of the page Microsoft refers directly to the fact that the upgrade requires at least 8 GB of internal memory, which eliminates the Lumia 530 (and other devices with 4 GB of memory) from the list of candidates for the new version of the mobile platform.
Despite born of doubt, let’s take a step back and go back to the WinHEC conference, which in the month of March, the Corporation released a set of slides containing the minimum system requirements of Windows 10 Mobile. One of them said that the amount of internal memory should be greater than or equal to 4 GB (although the device must be equipped with a memory expansion slot) and there is not the slightest hint of a limit of 8 GB.
One of two things: either during these months, Microsoft has revised the minimum specifications that must be met for the smartphone to receive the Windows 10 Mobile or note (which, incidentally, is only on the English version of the site) is wrong/outdated/not exhaustive.
