Microsoft provided a little more information about the future of Windows 10, explained why in December will not be a new build, and told about how the Windows Insider program is helping to shape the future of Windows.
In the last blog post Windows Windows to Gabe Aul from Microsoft has written that in December they decided not to release a new build of Windows 10 and have used it to stabilize code, fix any integration errors, and to put together a great Assembly that will include a bunch of new features and improvements. Some of them we’ve already seen in leaked builds 9888 and 9901.
According to the company, the program Windows Insider is working better than expected, and throughout its existence it has registered more than 1.5 million users, of which 450,000 people use the preview version of Windows 10 on a daily basis.
In addition, the team was able to find and fix more than 1,300 errors. Many of the features and changes in the experience of interaction was included in Windows 10 on the basis of feedback, explains Microsoft. For instance, choosing the default folder when opening Explorer came from the feedback. The same applies to improvements in the animations and some other changes.
