Microsoft will release an external battery for smartphones under its own brand
We already know that before the end of the year Microsoft plans to stop using the brand «Nokia» so that the next Lumia models will have to go under own brand.
Yesterday Microsoft took another step toward the rebranding of mobile devices, introducing its first external battery the type of charger Microsoft Portable Power.
Microsoft Portable Power is a sequel to the popular color batteries Nokia, but under his own name.
Interestingly, the capacity of the device quite seriously – as many as 6000 mAh. This will be enough for two full charges Nokia Lumia 930, for example. You can also simultaneously charge a smartphone and charger, as Microsoft Portable Power has microUSB, and USB.
Portable Power is fully charged in 4 hours, and more interesting is that in standby mode the device consumes almost no energy. Even after six months without use, the battery drops only to 80%, according to Microsoft.
The gadget weighs 145 grams and will be offered in orange, white and green colors. The launch is expected by the end of the year at a price of 39 euros.
