Microsoft released the first build of Windows 10 Redstone (Build 11082)
Microsoft released a new build of Windows 10 number 11082. This is the first version released as part of the development branch RS1, although in the official announcement made no mention of it. The Assembly was sent through the Fast Ring
The company emphasizes that the new version does not contain any new features or other visible changes. Currently, developers pay particular attention to the improvements at the system level. In particular, the Assembly 11082 comes with new optimizations in the kernel, OneCore, which enables Windows to work on different devices (PC, tablets, smartphones, IoT, HoloLens, and Xbox). All these internal changes needed to prepare for the development and implementation of new features.
Unfortunately, as with all preview builds released so far, version 11082 is not devoid of bugs. However, the list of known issues will now be published in the Insider Hub and not on blog pages Windows, as it was before. In particular, setting build 11082, you will face the following challenges:
- can be reset the settings to the default application;
- will not work to install additional operating system components and language packs;
- will not work with dialog box when file operations (copying, deleting, moving).
As usual, if you have already registered for the Windows Insider to install the new build just go to «Windows update» and check for updates.
