Microsoft OneClip: cloud and multi-platform clipboard
Microsoft OneClip is a new service for synchronizing content between a PC and a smartphone, which for its operation utilizes the cloud. The project has not yet been officially announced, but already available in beta form, as evidenced by the emergence of the Internet client version for PC, Windows Phone, iOS and Android.
The principle of operation is very simple: after installing the application on your computer you will be prompted to create a pairing code that you then need to enter in the app on your mobile device. A Microsoft account is not required, and the pair supports more than one device. Any content copied to the clipboard of the PC (text, images, web addresses, etc.) will be automatically synchronized with the app on your smartphone. For example, if you copy part of the text on the computer (click right mouse button + Copy), the text instantly appears in the app on your smartphone, without any additional action by the user.
Client for smartphones allows you to send the PC screenshots and photos that you can quickly see in the app bar in the system tray. An interesting point is that received pictures and screenshots by default are not saved on the computer but can be viewed, copied, deleted from the list and only if it is considered necessary to keep them.
