Microsoft, Intel and other manufacturers together to promote PC sales
Due to the continued decline in sales of personal computers, Microsoft and Intel in partnership with HP, Dell and Lenovo will launch a new advertising campaign under the slogan «PC Does What?» (something like «What can a PC?»), to show everyone what modern portable and desktop computers.
The advertising campaign will be concentrated in China and the United States are two very important region for business PC. Although the campaign is not officially reported, and the publication Re/Code claim that the investments by manufacturers will be proportionate to the $ 300 billion a year.
However, most of the investments in the promotion of the computer industry will have the share of Microsoft and Intel. However, both companies jointly promote the sales of computer equipment for a long time, for reasons that are visible to the naked eye: the software giant receives income from sales of services and tools that are used on computers, and many of these computers use Intel processors.
It is expected that this initiative will benefit both the sales of new products from Microsoft: Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book.
