Microsoft Hyperlapse for Windows, Windows Phone and Android: app time-lapse video
Microsoft has officially unveiled the Hyperlapse app for Windows, Windows Phone and Android. Conceived in the research centers of the company, the app is based on an innovative technology that accelerates video recorded from any camera of the last generation (including those integrated into smartphones), using some complex image processing algorithms.
The result, the so-called time-lapse video, you can see in the end of the news. However, the application from Microsoft allows you to apply the effect of acceleration even after, i.e. to the already filmed video – all via a simple and intuitive interface with the ability to choose the speed range from 1x to 32x. The company guarantees the smoothness and image stability.
The app is compatible with Lumia 435, 530, 532, 535, 630, 635, 636, 638, 640, 640 XL, 730, 735, 830, 930 and 1520 (the model with 512 MB RAM can’t record in HD), HTC One M8, with Android 4.4 or higher and a PC running 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows 8.x (requires at least 4 GB of RAM).
PC version is in preview, and offers a number of options and tools that make recording even more complex and sophisticated, especially those that have been obtained by using an action camera like GoPro. Later will be released a paid version for computers and tablets, while free to leave video watermark.
