Microsoft updated the minimum hardware requirements for a Continuum in Windows 10 Mobile
617 Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm was officially included in the list of minimum hardware requirements necessary to ensure the full support of the Continuum in Windows 10 Mobile. The information comes from a page on the official Microsoft website.
On the same page stated that the smartphone display with a resolution of 720p must have at least 2 GB RAM to support the Continuum, and not less than 3 GB of RAM, if it is equipped with a display with a resolution of 1080p.
Currently the only device with Windows 10 Mobile, which is equipped with Snapdragon 617 is a Japanese smartphone Neo NuAns released its original back cover which is made of two separate parts.
Thus, Neo NuAns became the third device (after the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL, equipped with more powerful processors Snapdragon Snapdragon 808 and 810, respectively) support function, which the software giant has high hopes. However, unlike the Lumia 950/XL, Neo NuAns is sold exclusively in Japan and is unlikely to ever appear outside of this country.
