Microsoft has released 13 security updates for Windows
Microsoft continues the policy of updates for Windows operating systems, releasing on the second Tuesday of each month, the set of security updates. This month, the company released 13 patches, three of which are identified as «critical».
The first security Bulletin – MS15-043 is a cumulative update for Internet Explorer and fixes several vulnerabilities, the most serious of which could allow remote code execution if a user visits a specially crafted web page.
In the second Bulletin MS15-044 – focuses on the vulnerability of the driver to the Microsoft Font that could allow remote code execution. The update also fixes a number of vulnerabilities in Windows Framework .NET, Office, Lync and Silverlight. The third and final security Bulletin that is associated with the critical update – MSM15-045 – addresses a vulnerability that affects the Windows journal.
The remaining 10 security updates had been identified by the company as important and designed for specific applications and components on Windows operating systems. The full list can be viewed here. Updates is for Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1, Windows RT and Windows RT 8.1. Download and install them by using Windows Update.
