Microsoft buys the company Talko to make Skype better
Despite the incredible popularity of Viber, WhatsApp etc. many users continue to use Skype as the only tool to exchange text messages and conduct voice and video calls. Microsoft is constantly integrating its service new features and even offers a business version of Skype, which was developed specifically for enterprises.
The day before the software giant officially confirmed the acquisition of the company Talko, which was founded by former Microsoft employee ray Ozzie. The reason for this decision is the desire of Microsoft to integrate innovative technologies Talko in future versions of Skype.
Talko develop a mobile app for iOS and Android that allows you not only to send text messages, but also to make calls and share picture with your device camera in real time, and without any interruption in the conversation. Talko will close its doors March 31, 2016. To this date, users will have the ability to export posts, photos, videos and other files from their profiles.
