Financial results for Q1 2015 Microsoft
Microsoft has officially announced its financial results for Q1 2015 (July, August and September 2014), earned $5.48 billion in operating profit and $4.5 billion net. The profit made on the background of the $23.2 billion in revenue, significantly more than in the beginning of this year.
Compared to the same period last year, Microsoft said revenue growth of 25%, but the decline in net profit by 14%. According to the Board of Directors of the tech giant, the reason for this decline is the cost of integration, reorganization and reconstruction, which mainly relate to the purchase of the mobile link Nokia.
