Console OS project that promises to double boot Android and Windows on PCs and tablets with Intel processors
The project called Console OS, is positioned as a simple and effective solution, able to run Android 4.4 x86. According to the authors of the project, the possibility of Console OS will be much wider than those of the virtualization and emulation of Android as BlueStacks, for example. Console OS will make full use of hardware resources and all improvements made to the operating system code from both Google and from Intel itself.
The developers of Console OS at the project page on Kickstarter, explain how their solution can provide a minimal amount of time between switching from one operating system to another. They argue that the whole process takes only 10 seconds. Moreover, thanks to the support of architecture from Intel, Console OS will allow you to fully enjoy the potential of the graphics library OpenGL ES 3.0. Thus, it will be possible to run the latest game for Android devices using integrated Intel graphics.
If you want to support the project, which at the moment has already collected 14 000 $ 50 000 required you can make a donation on the official page of Console OS on Kickstarter. By donating just $ 10, you are entitled to a complete copy of Console OS with lifetime free updates. Fundraising will continue until August 11.
