Computex 2015: ASUS has introduced its first device with Windows 10
Today in Taipei at Computex 2015, ASUS unveiled several new devices that hit the market right with Windows 10.
ASUS Transformer Book T100HA with Windows 10
ASUS Transformer Book T100HA will be one of the major players in the tablet ecosystem with Windows 10. It will feature Quad-core Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5, 4 GB of RAM, 32, 64 or 128 GB of internal memory and two cameras resolution of 5 and 2 MP.
Also, the tablet will have a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, and the weight of it all is 580 grams without keypad, with which the weight of the device is increased up to 1.04 kg. the thickness of the tablet is 8.45 mm. Transformer Book T100HA will be equipped with modern USB Type-C in combination with a microHDMI and a microSD slot. One additional USB 3.0 port will be available on the keyboard.
Battery capacity is not known, but the manufacturer claims that it will provide 14 hours of battery life. This new «transformer» will be on sale in the third quarter of the year at a price that we have yet to learn.
ASUS Zen AiO
Its commitment to Windows 10 Taiwanese company has shown with the updated range of devices «all in one».
New ASUS Zen AiO housing is made of aluminium and will be available with a screen size of 21.5″ (model Z220IC) and 23.8″ (model Z240IC). Computers offer the latest technology from Intel, including Quad-Core Intel Core i7 processor and SSD type PCIe. A user would also be up to 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960m with 4 GB of memory and USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Type-C 2 gen.
Zen AiO Z240IC will be equipped with a built-in RealSense camera, which will allow you to use Windows Hello, a new feature of Windows 10.
Sales will begin in the 4th quarter of the year.
