Clouder is an application for listening to music on SoundCloud on Windows 8 and Windows RT
If you are an audiophile, chances are you know about the social network SoundCloud. This is one of the best places on the Internet for finding new music artists. Although the main objective of the service is to provide an opportunity to distribute their music, SoundCloud is a rich platform for listening to free tracks.
It so happened that SoundCloud does not yet have official app for Windows 8 and RT (8.1), and it means only one thing – if you want to listen to music from SoundCloud inside the Metro interface (or Modern), you will have to use third-party alternatives. One such application is called a Clouder.
In addition to a stylish user interface, Clouder has a number of very interesting features. The app is free, however, like listening to music through it.
After startup, Clouder will take you to the home screen, which consists of popular at the moment tracks in the social network, and recently played songs. Scroll home screen to the right, you will see another section «Our choice». All tracks are presented in the form of «tiles».
Interface Clouder is one of those elements, which the developers can be proud of. And even despite the fact that Clouder is not an official app of SoundCloud, I won’t say that.
To start playback, simply click on the corresponding tile. Similarly, you can get into the category of popular tracks. After starting streaming playback app unlocks items for the playback controls at the bottom of the screen – pause, rewind, and volume adjustment. In addition, on the playback screen there is a button «Download», which, as the name suggests, allows you to download any songs to your hard drive. Downloaded music is saved on your computer in the folder «Music».
Also Clouder allows you to log in to your account on SoundCloud. This opens up new options, including the ability to leave comments, make reposts and other social options.
the app is available in the Windows store.
