CameraManager for Windows 8.x – get the most from your device’s camera
The Camera app running in Windows 8, only provides basic features, which will be enough for the least demanding users to capture photos or video. But if you feel that you can get from your camera some more, try a new app that appeared in the Windows Store.
CameraManager is a new tool for Windows 8.x, which can be used on any device with a connected camera, be it a tablet, laptop or desktop PC with Windows 8 or Windows 8.1.
With this app your camera will get a new life, even if you only use the front camera, which, as a rule, for most users, is a means to conduct video calling or to take a photo of yourself (called «selfies»). On the other hand, if you want to get the most from the main camera of your tablet, CameraManager will help you in achieving this goal, providing a number of different settings and optimizations.
With CameraManager you can capture the best moments of your life, even in low light or other adverse conditions that may interfere with your photo session. The app will allow you to adjust brightness, contrast, white balance and focal length. To decorate the frames at your disposal are a variety of effects, filters and frames. Digital zoom helps you zoom, and face tracking will automatically track and focus the camera lens on your face and the faces of your loved ones.
In General, if you are not satisfied with the camera application by default (and it is unlikely for someone to hold), be sure to try the CameraManager.
Unfortunately, at the moment the app is not available for Windows RT, so you can use it only with devices based on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. I paid (69 rubles), but the developer offers a 15-day trial period.
