There was the first smartphone with Windows logo
A few days ago it was reported that Microsoft will replace the brand «Windows Phone» in «Windows», and now the world was presented the first smartphone that came under this change.
The device is called GoFone GF47W and is part of the directory is not a particularly popular British brand My Go.
On the official page of the smartphone indicate that it is running the operating system Windows Phone 8.1, but in several places on the website and even on the back of the model instead of the «Windows Phone» is mentioned just «Windows».
This move by Microsoft is in the direction of merge all versions of Windows – perhaps it will happen in 2015 with the new Windows 9.
Interestingly, this unit does not have a standard key with the Windows logo below the screen. Instead, we see some kind of circle.
Model GoFone GF47W is positioned in the middle class and has a 4.7″ HD IPS display, Quad-core Snapdragon processor, 8-megapixel camera and a slim body.
By the end of the year, Microsoft needs to impose a massive use of the name «Windows» in the marketing of mobile devices with the platform of the company, while the following Lumia models will be deprived of the brand «Nokia».
