A new update for Internet Explorer 11
On April 2 at the BUILD conference Microsoft announced an update to Internet Explorer 11 for desktop and mobile devices. The new version of the browser will be adapted to a variety of consumer devices. The update is available for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, and will also be part of the new Windows Phone 8.1.
We know that during the day people use the Internet on multiple devices including laptops, tablets and phones. Today’s update to IE11 means that your open tabs and favorite sites are waiting for you on any device in the form in which you left them.
The update improves the hardware support for WebGL and HTML5 compatibility. Updated IE11 may identify the user’s device and adapt the image to appear as good as possible on the current screen size. The browser includes a new Enterprise mode for desktop computers as well as the mode for reading and storing data for mobile devices.
The Enterprise mode will allow you to work with corporate resources is only compatible with Internet Explorer 8, and the reading mode optimizes the text content on web pages, making it look like a digital book on the screens of smartphones and tablets. In addition, the new High Savings mode reduces data consumption up to 60-80%, shrinking images and uploading only those page elements which are necessary for normal browsing.
